PRESS RELEASE - INCIDENT ON WASHACRE

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "At around 6.30pm yesterday (Wednesday 2 July 2025), we were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Washacre involving two electric bikes."

"Officers attended the scene and located a man in his 20s with a serious head injury. He has been taken to hospital where he remains."

"Three men aged 25, 32 and 37- alongside a woman aged 34 – were arrested on suspicion of assault and dangerous driving."

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have any CCTV footage, including dashcam, mobile phone footage in the moments leading up to the collision.
